A Bio Blog

I'm Maria - a PhD student (almost Dr Maria!!) studying Parkinson's disease with fruit flies. I'm a cell biology and genetics enthusiast who loves chatting all things research & lab tips!

Check out my videos to learn more about the latest scientific research that interests me, general chats about what it is like to do a PhD, my PhD journey and what it's like to be a research scientist... all of course with a healthy sprinkling of my three favourite things - mitochondria, fruit flies and chats over a cup of tea!
