Salt and Sun Yoga and Wellness

When I began my yoga practice, I was intimidated to be in a studio with seasoned yogis. There were times when I was even called out and embarrassed by a teacher because whatever I was doing didn’t agree with their teaching. I want to eliminate that feeling, that reluctance to try yoga because we don’t think we’re flexible enough or have a body for yoga. I’m here to tell you that if you have a body, you can do yoga. In my classes, I constantly remind my students that yoga is a practice and if you keep practicing, it gets easier.

The name Salt and Sun resonated because the places that make me the happiest provide salty air from the ocean and the sun on my face. I thought “wouldn’t it be great if I could always have the benefits of Salt and Sun and still serve my community?” This is how we do that. Our global society allows us to connect through technology, wherever we are. And so, Salt and Sun is a global entity, striving to serve you, wherever you are.
