Zahra the Moroccan Desert Cat

Zahra was a starving kitten in the Agafay Desert when she wandered into our tent at Inara Camp and changed our lives forever. Today she’s a happy, spoiled house cat in Hoboken.

Her story didn’t end at her rescue, though. We’re raising awareness and funds for the 20+ cats and dogs still living near Inara camp, working with local  Moroccan animal rescue groups to provide TNVR, medical care, food, and safety.
