During the COVID-19 lockdown, my sister Dee and I (Yash), tired of hiding behind straighteners and rebonding treatments, decided to embrace our natural curls. I went bald, and Yash did the big chop, shedding years of damage and insecurity. This journey revealed a significant gap in the availability of curl-friendly products in our diverse country.

Determined to make a change, we started a curl community on Instagram, sharing tips, product recommendations, and personal stories. Our authenticity and passion resonated with many, quickly growing a loyal following. After three years of renting rooms and offering home services, we established Curly Bouncy My and CurlFixers Studio
