Worth the Carry

Worth the Carry answers one question: **is it actually worth carrying?**

I'm a midlife woman in DC with no car. I get around by Metro, train, plane, and on foot — so everything in my bag has to earn its spot.

But practical doesn't have to mean boring.

I test cute-but-useful travel gear, everyday tech, digicams, cozy handhelds, and the little things that make commuting, traveling, and everyday life more fun.

Think subway-proof earplugs, power banks that fit in a personal item, an old camera for taking pictures of random things on the way home, or a handheld that makes a long train ride a little better.

This is for grown women who still like to play, explore, take pictures, decorate their bags, and carry a little whimsy through everyday life.

**Soft style. Hard function. And if it's not worth the weight, I'll say so.**
