Witch Castle Bliss

Witch Castle Bliss is a darkly fun trio of troubadours who combine diverse styles in an irresistible stage experience.

Accordionist Willow Rutherford is balladeer of original folk, jazz, Celtic and cabaret songs. She most recently returned from a tour in China with the duo Les Baronnes Bleues.

Cellist Alyssa Wright – described as "Jacqueline Dupre meets Janice Joplin over wine and whiskey" – is a classical-folk crossover artist. She launched an autobiographical one-woman show titled "Music For the Changing Voice" for Talk Is Free Theatre in Barrie ON.

Brian MacLean is a singer-songwriter whose eclectic guitar enhances a mellow, expressive voice, familiar to open stages around the county as From the Moon Raccoon. Brian’s writings about life's absurdity – whether beautiful, moral, mortal or cute – inspired fellow musician Edward St Moritz to describe the efforts as "like a Dali painting, but with words."

Together, they are Witch Castle Bliss.
