Why They Stay

Why do people remain in places the rest of us would choose to leave?

WHY THEY STAY explores remote islands, isolated communities, hidden villages, and some of the world’s most extreme environments. Through cinematic 4K travel documentaries, we uncover how people live, adapt, survive, preserve their traditions, and create a sense of home in places shaped by isolation, harsh climates, limited resources, and extraordinary geography.

From tropical islands and frozen settlements to deserts, mountains, coastal communities, and forgotten corners of the planet, every documentary seeks to answer one powerful question:

Why do they stay?
