West Bengal State Export Promotion Society

The State Export Promotion Board (SEPB) was formed in the year of 1996 to encourage and assist potential exporters in small scale sector for promoting export from the state. In 1999, the West Bengal Government has converted the SEPB into West Bengal State Export Promotion Society (WBSEPS), which registered under West Bengal Societies Registration Act by 1961.

The West Bengal State Export Promotion Society, working in close collaboration with the Export Promotion Councils and Trade Promotion Organizations, establishes contact with the buyers abroad and help in resolving overseas complaints and trade disputes. The Society thus is opening up export avenues for the small sector by building a bridge between Indian Exporters and the Overseas Buyers.
