Waxing Crescent Apothecary

Hi my name is Joe, This channel isn’t about avoiding modern medicine it’s about remembering that nature offers her own kind of care, too. Sometimes, the most powerful healing starts right outside your door. Mainly this channel will be about  herbal medicine &  remedies. We will be making all sorts of salves, tinctures, poultices, and even herbal food recipes. Who knows we may also sprinkle in some wood working &  blacksmithing here and there. My herbal knowledge comes from a few different sources by growing up in the Appalachian Mountains learning  from my parents, grandparents, friends, I'm a student of the Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine, and continuing to self study. How I came up with the name for my apothecary was simple really, In the year of the Dragon of 1976 I was born under a waxing crescent moon. I also have a small home wood workshop @ a blacksmith shop that I call the Dragon Fire Forge. So lets go make a some tinctures
