Welcome to What the Hell Am I Doing? — a sailing channel starring one broke Aussie bogan with zero clues, zero money and that got caught in a Boatyard scam after buying a hurricane damaged sailboat.

After nearly dying when a motorcyclist slammed into my car at 120km/h (also ending my music career), I figured stuff it — and sold everything to sail around the world.

Only problem? I couldn’t sail… didn’t own a boat… had virtually no money,  so naturally I bought a wreck in the Caribbean in Carriacou, Grenada and got caught in one of the dodgiest boatyard scams going.

This is real sailing life, or it will be, when I can learn enough to get my boat out of the scam boatyard and get a mast on it.
