Wisconsin NewsMedia Association

The official YouTube Channel of the Wisconsin NewsMedia Association.

The Wisconsin Newspaper Association was established in 1853 and is among the oldest press associations in the world. Created by and for Wisconsin’s newspapers, WNA exists to strengthen the news media industry in all its forms, enhance public understanding of the vital role of local journalism, and protect basic freedoms of press, speech and the free flow of information.

In 2026, the Wisconsin Newspaper Association Board of Directors voted unanimously to rename the organization the Wisconsin NewsMedia Association.

The Wisconsin NewsMedia Association serves as the single point of contact for Wisconsin’s news media organizations. In addition to serving its members, the association provides advertising placement services, maintains the searchable Wisconsin Public Notices website, and delivers comprehensive news monitoring through its News Tracker service.
