Very Historic Problems

Every problem in history had a price. I add it up.

History books tell you who won. I tell you who paid. Sometimes it was a king's treasury. Usually it was someone's great-great-grandmother with a bad back and no pension.

Each video works out what the past really cost the people living it in money and lives and years. Then you decide whether you'd swap places.

Every figure comes from official records and the sources are in every video description.
