Velo Forty Two

Velo Forty Two | Cycling, Gravel, Cyclocross & MTB

I’m Jason Richardson, a 48-year-old cyclist documenting just how fit I can get.

Follow my cycling training, cyclocross racing, gravel adventures, mountain biking and Zwift as I work on improving my fitness, power and endurance.

I ride year-round across Yorkshire and the North of England — through mud, rain, climbs and everything British cycling throws at us.

You’ll also find real-world bike and cycling tech reviews, bike setup, GPS computers, tyres, equipment and kit that I actually use and test over time.

No pro athlete. No highlight reel. Just the full journey — training, racing, big rides, good days, bad days and seeing how far I can push myself at 48.

If you’re into cycling, getting fitter, gravel, cyclocross, MTB and real-world bike gear, subscribe and come along for the ride.
