In Pursuit of Vaginal Happiness

What if something as natural as menstruation could determine a girl's safety, education and future? "In Pursuit of Vaginal Happiness" explores the hidden cost of womanhood and asks a question rarely spoken aloud: What does vaginal happiness mean to you?

Award-winning humanitarian and menstrual health advocate Samantha Jacobs travels across Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, the Netherlands, and the USA, uncovering powerful personal stories and diverse cultural perspectives. The documentary explores how period poverty affects health, dignity, education, and opportunity while examining the links between menstrual inequity, human trafficking, child exploitation, and gender-based vulnerability.

Intimate, provocative, and deeply human, the documentary film challenges audiences to reconsider whose comfort is protected, whose is compromised, and why.
