Usanza Viva

Usanza Viva documents the traditional festivals, music, dances, and crafts of southeastern Spain. Cuadrillas and aguilanderos (festive music groups), rondallas (string ensembles), folk choirs and dance groups, pilgrimages, artisanal crafts, and folk theater.

These are neither commissioned reports nor studio productions: we show up to live events and capture them as they unfold, with 4K video and stereo field recording. A specific day, in a specific place.

Everything is published here, for free and with no expiration date. If your group would like the original 4K video file, please write to us.

A channel created by Voz de Tinaja, a documentary production branch of ZONA Fotografía (established in 2006).
