Unified Systems perspective

The division between hardware and software is artificial.

Hardware and software, and systems in general, have multiple things in common: bare-bones physics, environments, and constraints (both natural and manmade). Hardware is physical architecture - materialised logic. Software is fluid machinery in the Computational Domain. Whether the medium is Atoms or Bits, the physics of flow remain identical: congestion is congestion, latency is latency, and friction must be engineered out.
