Uncle Kenji's Japan

My name is Kenji Nakamura. For 45 years, my family ran a small ryokan — a traditional inn — in the mountains of Gifu, Japan. Eight rooms, one hot spring, and one rule passed down from my grandmother: take care of small things, and the big things take care of themselves.

On this channel I share what that life taught me: how Japanese people clean, organize, save money, and find calm in daily routines. Old ways, small tools, no waste.

Small steps, every day. Mata ne~
