U.S.-Japan Creative Artists Fellowship Program

U.S.-Japan Creative Artists Fellowship Program has been in operation since 1978. Five U.S. artists from various genres such as fine arts, music, performing arts, visual arts, literature, and architecture are selected each year and given the opportunity to conduct research and creative activities in Japan.

The program is organized by the U.S.-Japan Friendship Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, in cooperation in cooperation with the International House of Japan and Japan’s Agency for Cultural Affairs (Bunkacho).
