At the UCF Department of Electrical and Computer and Engineering, we boast a diverse and growing faculty that’s been recognized locally, nationally and internationally for its innovative research in energy efficiency for wireless devices, optimizing power systems models to help electrical grids operate at peak efficiency and developing adaptive building control technologies that can lead to a more sustainable future. 

Our academic programs, consistently ranked among the top programs in the nation by U.S. News and World Report, are led by some of the most prominent experts within electrical and computer engineering fields, including computer systems and architectures, cyber-physical systems micro- and nano-systems and electromagnetics.
