Behind every battle lies a story.

Discover the battles, sieges, and turning points of Islamic history through cinematic storytelling, animated maps, and vivid historical illustrations.

How did the confrontation begin? Which decision changed its course? And what happened after the clash of swords fell silent?

We look beyond victory and defeat to explore the people, strategies, and consequences behind each battle. Our approach values historical sources and distinguishes well-supported events from disputed accounts.

Subscribe and uncover the story behind the battle.

Turath Studios makes games and short films about Arab history. Our first game, The Last Abbasid, is a pixel-art action game set in Baghdad in 1258, as the Mongols sack the city. The demo of Chapter I is on itch.io: https://shehab20089.itch.io/the-last-abbasid
