Travels With Shelagh ("Sheila"; "Exceptional EA")

Intrepid? You decide. I'm Shelagh (pronounced "Sheila"), a Canadian who loves to create and capture memories through travel as well as showing you beautiful Vancouver.

Whether you're an armchair traveller or planning a trip, I hope you find inspiration as I explore nature, architecture, cities, villages, gardens, galleries and more internationally. 

I love train travel, and seeing our planet from plane windows. I've navigated public transit in Asia, Australia, Europe, NZ, the UK and US. My husband drove us in Ireland, and I first drove in the UK from Edinburgh to St Andrews - and I don't golf! I've navigated remote, narrow roads, making good use of pullouts and avoiding nearby sheep. It's donkeys who created my favourite roadblock to date. 

Not all experiences are smooth; I've driven safely across Denmark, the Scottish Highlands and Outer Hebrides, but dislocated a shoulder in a hotel. I've also found myself up to my knees in a New Forest bog, but only once; I learn my lessons!
