Toshiro Hayashi

Hi, I’m Toshiro Hayashi.

I grew up in Japan, and I’ve lived in America for more than 30 years. Along the way, I brought many of the simple habits I learned from my parents and grandparents. Ways to cook, save money, care for a home, waste less, stay active, and make everyday life easier.

My daughter Yui is the reason I started this channel. She often told me, “Dad, you know so many things people would find useful. You should share them.”

So that’s what I’m doing.

Here, I share the Japanese habits, traditions, household knowledge, food practices, and simple techniques I’ve used throughout my life, and how I use them here in America.

I’m not here to tell you that the Japanese way is better. I simply want to share what has worked for me for decades, and perhaps give you a few ideas worth trying yourself.

If you enjoy practical knowledge, saving money, simple living, home tips, food, healthy habits, and old wisdom that still works today, welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
