Timber Wolf Information Network

-Empowering the Public Through Wolf Education-
TWIN's Mission is to increase public awareness and acceptance of the wolf in its natural habitat and its ecological role in the environment.
Founded in 1989, Timber Wolf Information Network is dedicated to educating the public about wolf conservation in The Great Lakes region. Through our science-based workshops and community outreach, we strive to increase awareness and acceptance of wolves as a vital part of our natural ecosystem.
The Timber Wolf Information Network is a nonprofit organization. It is comprised of volunteers from throughout the United States, from all walks of life.
TWIN's commitment to advancing knowledge of wolves through research has grown since our early days. Partnering with universities, wildlife agencies, and local conservation groups, our biologists and trackers have contributed to comprehensive studies and monitoring that inform wolf ecological understanding.
