Tim Sharman for Congress

I'm Tim Sharman, an independent candidate for Congress in Virginia's 8th District.

I'm running because I believe government should solve problems. Too often, politics gets in the way.

I will focus on the things people worry about when they wake up in the morning: whether they can afford a home, childcare, healthcare, education, groceries and transportation — and whether they'll have the same opportunities previous generations took for granted.

I believe America can be bold, strong, innovative, fair, free, safe and ethical. We can disagree about how we get there without treating one another as enemies.

What I Stand For - Government that works. Politics that doesn't get in the way.
