This Pastor's Life

A glimpse into this Pastor's Life. Welcome to a place where we deconstruct faith, church history, the Bible, farming, and the strange stories we were never taught in Sunday school.

I’m a queer pastor, theologian, and former Southern Baptist pastor’s kid who grew up surrounded by sermons, Scripture, church culture, and questions. Now, alongside my wife and our farm animal rescue, I’m exploring what happens when we take those things apart, examine where they came from, and decide what is worth carrying forward.

Sometimes we’ll laugh at the weirdness of church history. Sometimes we’ll wrestle with difficult parts of Scripture. Sometimes we’ll stand in a pasture with a rescued animal and discover that they have something to teach us about grace.

You don’t have to have everything figured out to belong here.
