These Dudes Were WEIRD

Welcome to the absolute freak show that is human history!

Think modern celebrities are unhinged? Buckle up, because I'm about to tell you about historical figures who make your wildest fever dreams look like Disney movies.

Kings who thought they were made of glass. Emperors who tried to make horses government officials. Rulers who bathed twice in 70 years. We're talking about dudes so weird that if you made a movie about them, people would say "that's unrealistic."

I do the research so you don't have to wonder "wait, did this actually happen?" Spoiler alert: it did. All of it.
Think of this channel as your drunk history professor, except I'm sober and fact-check things.
New videos every week because there's an unlimited supply of historical weirdness to unpack.

Subscribe to feel better about your life choices by learning about people who made objectively worse ones. Trust me, after hearing about kings who died laughing at terrible jokes, your problems won't seem so bad.
