Theatre North at the Princess, Launceston

Theatre North Inc, trading as Theatre North at the Princess is an independent, non-profit organisation, established in 1995, and funded by the State Government and the City of Launceston.

We have two main roles:

1. We present an annual subscription season of professional performing arts from around Australia - productions which Launceston audiences would not otherwise have the opportunity to see.  In addition, we support the development of locally produced theatre and dance.

2. We manage the Princess Theatre and Earl Arts Centre, under a lease agreement with the Launceston City Council.
