The Wee Glesga Poet

PULL UP A PEW

Join The Wee Glesga Poet for a wee dose of political patter, straight talking and the occasional well-deserved roasting of the goings-on at Holyrood!

The mission? To get some of Scotland's estimated two million non-voters (myself included, by the way!) interested enough in politics to consider voting again.

No party allegiance, no political cheerleading and certainly no nodding along just because somebody's wearing the right colour rosette.

Just an attempt to cut through the political spin, make sense of the nonsense, ask a few awkward questions and maybe even have a laugh along the way.

Will it make a difference? Who knows. It might only delay what already feels like a foregone conclusion.

But if you never try swimming against the current, you'll only get swept away even quicker.

So pull up a pew, bring your own opinions, and let's see if we can make politics worth paying attention to again.
