Hi! I’m Christine! I’m a plant-based cook and James Beard nominated author of The Vibrant Hong Kong Table, a heartfelt tribute to the city that has been home to my family for four generations and all of our iconic dishes.

My work explores the intersection of identity and community through the lens of food... with a plant-forward twist. I host pop up dinners, teach dumpling-making classes (and mahjong), and create culinary stories celebrating culture and connection. 

I'm a culinary wanderer, traveling throughout Asia to discover cultural foodscapes in each country. From bustling markets and street foods to the spirituality of temple cuisine, I also highlight sustainable producers, and the artisans who keep food heritage and traditions alive.
