TheTyresBand

The Tyres are born by Jacopo Garimanno and Mattia Garimanno's idea of resuming the old Garage sound and to revalue it by taking advantage of the new sound possibilities available today, classifying the genre as Alternative/Indie Rock.
The project is born quite as a joke, as a consequence of the composition of the first single "Liar", song that actually should have been part of the hard rock group "Phunk Anonymous" 's repertoire.
The quartet's pieces boast influences of the genre's founders, such as MC5, Stooges, Chesterfield Kings, Fuzztones, The Sick Rose, etc.. But even of more modern groups, like Arctic Monkeys, The Hives, Queen of the Stone Age, etc..
In 2012 The Tyres sign a contract with Ænima Recordings' label, with which they publish their first single "Liar" and now they are working for completing the one that will be their first album.
