The Suitcase Detective grew from our combined interest in global fact or fiction mysteries with a passion for improving international awareness of missing persons.

The Suitcase Detective also posts notices for missing persons and true crime cases from around the world. Crime knows no borders, but police departments do. Local and national exposure is no longer enough to properly identify trends and bring awareness to potential witnesses.  This project is part of "Never Quit Looking", a global database hosted on our site for missing persons, unsolved homicides, and unidentified remains. NQL features a case intake system built using ESL methods to simplify translatability and is global, encouraging standardization. It is also highly filterable by more than a dozen factors (e.g. key terms, shoe size, distinguishing feature).
