The Singing Christmas Tree Zurich

The Singing Christmas Tree Zurich: the world-famous singing Christmas tree on Werdmühleplatz, just off Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich. From 19 November to 23 December 2026, over 40 choirs perform on the tree.

The first edition took place in 1998. Today children's and youth choirs, gospel, classical and pop choirs sing here, with a different programme every evening. Around the tree is Zurich's Christmas market, the Wiehnachtsmärt, with mulled wine, raclette and the Fondue Chalet.

During the season we stream the performances live on this channel. You'll also find recordings from past years and a look behind the scenes.
