The Shelf Press is an independent publisher based in Dubai.

We make books slowly and on purpose. Puzzle books and journals are where we begin — the kind of book you can pick up on a quiet morning and put down without losing your place. More kinds of book will follow.

Every title is set by software we wrote and then checked, page by page, before it is allowed out. Nine separate checks for a paperback, six for a printable. It is a slow way to publish and we prefer it.
