The Saffron Factory, Inc

The Saffron Factory documents the precision agronomy and environmental engineering behind cultivating the world's most delicate, high-value crop indoors: saffron (*Crocus sativus*).

Indoor saffron is notoriously difficult due to fungal corm rot and microclimate sensitivity. We are solving that bottleneck through Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA).

Using off-the-shelf AC Infinity smart hardware, IONBEAM LED arrays, and targeted biological inoculation, we track and publish the exact environmental data that makes repeatable indoor saffron cultivation possible:

• Microclimate Precision: 1.48 kPa Vapor Pressure Deficit (VPD) to suppress pathogens without synthetic chemicals
• Environmental Control: Narrow 5°F temperature bands (71°F–76°F) and dialed relative humidity
• Sensor exports, rack blueprints, and uncut weekly grow logs
