The Real Work

The Real Work is a pediatric therapy practice in Beaverton, Oregon. Our play therapists and occupational therapists work with neurodivergent kids and their families and integrate play and nature into our work.

On this channel, our clinicians talk about what comes up in our offices all the time: big feelings, sensory needs, meltdowns, motor skills, school struggles, and how play and nature helps kids work through it. Some videos are conversations between clinicians. Others are short explainers you can watch in the car before pickup.

This channel is for parents and caregivers, and for the teachers, pediatricians, and other providers who support kids alongside them.

These videos are for education and aren’t a substitute for therapy or medical advice. If you’re in the Portland area and want to work with us, visit our website or email
