Wokv

Wokv is a Christian Hip-hop rapper and poet from Lusaka, Zambia, known for his old-school boom-bap style and storytelling sound. Drawing influence from Gospel Rap and Spoken Word, his music delivers messages of clarity, faith, and the transformative power of God through Jesus Christ.

Wokv’s passion for music began at a young age, growing up in a home filled with Gospel and classic Hip-hop records. Inspired by artists like Lecrae, The Ambassador, 116 Clique, and local Zambian storytellers, he developed a love for words and rhyme schemes. Poetry quickly became his escape, allowing him to express his thoughts about life, faith, and society.

At the age of 21, he wrote his first song titled "Storyline," marking the start of a journey to use music as a tool for ministry and storytelling.
