Rahim Thawer is a social worker and psychotherapist who has lived and worked in Toronto/Tkaronto for most of his life. He provides consulting services and clinical supervision in his private practice along while also working as a post-secondary sessional lecturer. Rahim is a queer Muslim community organizer and an emerging writer. His approaches to psychotherapy, teaching, and community development continually consider and examine the intersections of systemic oppression and mental health.
