The Poetry of Tarot

Cheryl will take people on The Fool's Journey through the Tarot's Major Arcana using a variety of decks and her original poetry as well as thoughts,and insights gathered from 50 years experience of reading and studying the cards.  

Cheryl Savageau has been writing poetry and studying and reading Tarot since the 1970s.   She is an award-winning poet, memoirist, and children's author.  She has three poetry collections, Home Country, Dirt Road Home (which was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize and a finalist for the Paterson Poetry Prize), and Mother/Land.  Her children's book was a Smithsonian Notable Book and won the Skipping Stone Award for outstanding children's ecological literature.  Her memoir, Out of the Crazywoods, published in 2020, will be coming out in paperback in June 2025.  It is a hybrid poetry/poetic prose memoir about her experience as a person with bipolar.
