Ajita Gupta | The Modern Software Engineer

The Modern Software Engineer helps students, career starters, and early-career professionals become confident software engineers in the AI era. We start from the fundamentals and build toward the skills modern engineers actually need: software engineering principles, Git, Python, APIs, testing, architecture, ChatGPT, AI-assisted development, coding agents such as Codex, and building AI-powered applications. The focus is not on chasing every new tool or becoming an AI researcher—it’s on understanding how software works, developing strong engineering judgment, and learning how to use AI effectively without giving up that understanding. Whether you’re entering software engineering, strengthening your foundations, or adapting your skills for an increasingly agentic world, the goal is simple: become a better modern software engineer.
