The Founder of Modern School was Lala Raghubir Singh. He started Modern School in 1920 in a Haveli located in Daryaganj, Delhi which belonged to his father, Sultan Singh. Lalaji’s vision was to establish a school which would combine the traditions of Indian education with modern educational techniques and fosters the all-round growth of a child.
