The Mindful Diver

Hi, I’m Marissa! Through scuba diving, nature/wildlife photography & storytelling, I explore the natural world above & below the surface and how it can change the way we see ourselves and the world around us.

I have a BS in Environmental Science and am a PADI Divemaster Trainee. I share dive knowledge, safety, skills & experiences to encourage safer, more confident & self-aware divers.

Through photography and video, I also tell the stories behind what we see... from wildlife & quiet moments in nature to the Great Lakes, reefs & shipwrecks beneath the surface.

The Mindful Diver is about curiosity, conservation & connection... inspiring people to slow down, look closer, appreciate the beauty around us & understand why it’s worth protecting.

You’ll also find Real Talk: reflections on personal growth, faith, creativity & the inner currents that shape us.
