The Memory Of America

For the past few years, I have traveled the country working on a multimedia project capturing the memories and stories of individuals of all ages.

“THE MEMORY OF AMERICA: Remember Your First Baseball Game” is far-reaching and layered.  Baseball is merely the turnstile...  We recognize ourselves in the memories of diverse strangers through a uniquely American experience connecting generations.

Each multimedia memory program — through video and disparate creative tools — is custom curated for the particular community and space.

In a nation polarized and frayed, this memory project inspires empathy, connection and understanding.

Somebody once asked me to describe the project in only one word.  This seemed inconceivable.  But, as I thought it through, it became quite clear.  The stories and memories, some dating back nine decades, go in divergent directions.  But they all meet in one place with one word: Love.
