In this podcast, we will explore the art of oral storytelling; looking at the history, and relevance today and discovering storytellers who are passionate about bringing stories to you in the oral form. Each fortnight we hear from a new storyteller who will bring a story to life and share their journey into this traditional art form. Our storytellers from everywhere in the world may tell fairy tales, folk tales, legends, or myths, they may tell tall tales, be historical guides, tell personal tales, original fiction, or a combination of any of these. 
The oral tradition is one of the oldest forms of communication and given our tech-heavy world, storytelling provides a level of connection that is missing in our fast-paced society.
