The Green Grey House

We’re Jonathan (Jack) and Jennifer, and The Green Grey House is where we document our journey of transforming our 40-year-old home with energy-efficient upgrades and smart technology.

Our content dives deep into our experience with the Tesla Solar Roof (tile system), Tesla Powerwall batteries, and our Tesla Model Y, sharing insights on installation, performance, and real-world use. Beyond solar and EVs, we explore smart home tech, including smart locks, smart plugs, and app-controlled HVAC, lighting, and appliances—all designed to make life more efficient and sustainable.
