Ade Sellars - The Good Life Gardener

I’m Ade Sellars and I’m a professional gardener, presenter, writer and filmmaker with a passion for growing my own food in my kitchen garden, but it hasn’t always been like this. 

Life has taken me on quite an adventure. After working on building sites in my youth, I retrained as an actor and spent many years treading the boards and working in TV and film. I eventually moved behind the camera where I spent fifteen years working as a Director and Editor on everything from National Geographic documentaries to primetime American dramas, alongside talent such as Sir Roger Moore and M. Night Shyamalan. So, how is it I’m now leading The Good Life? 

In 2018, my wife and I decided to quit the rat race and leave London behind us, moving to rural Suffolk to lead ‘The Good Life’. The plan? To build a kitchen garden, focus on our wellbeing, and lead a more sustainable lifestyle.
