The End-of-Life Journey

"The End-of-life Journey" is a series of 6 videos encouraging Canadians to begin a conversation about death with family and friends. Every journey has a beginning, a middle, and an end. The initial video is an introduction to the contents of the material covered. The first topic "Defining the Issues" deals with the beginning of our end-of-life journey when we receive the terminal diagnosis. The second topic "Navigation Tools for the Journey" will explain the rights, terminology and responsibilities we will encounter along the way.  The third video will deal with "Voluntarily Stopping Eating and Drinking" one of the choices we can make as we end our life. The fourth video "Palliative Care and Hospice" will provide an overview of these choices for the terminally ill. The fifth and final video "M.A.i.D and Grief" will provide insights into medically assisted deaths and grief. These videos are based on my testimony before the Federal Senate Committee on MAiD and personal experiences.
