The Dynamics‘ story began in the early 2000s, on the slopes of a hill in the center of Lyon . The group was formed through chance encounters, during smoky evenings, musical and cosmopolitan parties, around a shared passion for all kinds of music, especially those that bring souls together : Soul, Funk, Rhythm’n’Blues, Disco, Dub, Reggae…
This somewhat unlikely collection of musicians, producers, DJs, singers, decided to take to the stage at private parties as a vocal trio, accompanied by an initially rudimentary sound system.
The Dynamics went on to forge a solid stage reputation and toured Europe, the Middle East and Japan, playing at festivals such as Glastonbury, Lovebox, Vale Earth Fair (UK), Freedom Sounds Festival (DE), SunSka, Garorock (FR), Sudoeste Festival (Pt), Popkomm (DE), and many others… from small clubs and venues to main stages of festivals, opening for artists as diverse as Toots and the Maytals, Lee Perry, Snowboy, the Chemical Brothers, Coldplay, and Lady Gaga.
