The Diabetic Walker

Welcome to The Diabetic Walker! I'm Lee, and this channel is where my love of the outdoors meets the daily reality of living with type 1 diabetes.

🩺 I'm not here to give medical advice but to share my real-life experiences managing blood glucose, insulin, and all the unpredictability that comes with diabetes, while exploring some of the UK’s most scenic walking routes.

Whether you're diabetic, a walker, or just here for the scenery and stories, there's something for you. Walks are usually packed with practical insight, personal moments, and the calming sounds of nature.

Expect:
Beautiful walking routes and hidden gems 🥾
Honest diabetes check-ins (the highs, the lows, and the glucose spikes) 💉
Gear tips, what’s in my bag, and what’s in my lunchbox 🍌
A few laughs, some muddy boots, and the odd train-missing moment 🚂

Hit subscribe, lace up your boots, and join me for the journey, one step (and one glucose check) at a time.
