The Despair Collective

The Despair Collective is a heavy electronic-rock band from Buffalo, New York that fuses cinematic rock with a retrowave style. The band is fronted by female vocals and draws influence from Queen, Ghost, and Rammstein.

The group includes guitarist MiKe Longo and bassist Dana Fogle, with drums performed by a session musician. The Despair Collective is a fully digital band that records remotely, arranges and composes on mobile devices, mixes and masters from a distance, and distributes music online. Since their debut single, the band has continued to work with this approach, using new technology for each release.

The Despair Collective has released songs including “Breathe Again” and “Sunrise for the Soulless.” What began as a single-song project has grown into a full band. Since the release of their 2021 debut track “Your Say,” the band has been working on live performances and new music for 2025.
