Despite being more digitally connected than ever, millions of people feel unseen, unsupported, and alone. Loneliness is quietly shaping our health, our communities, and our future, contributing to rising rates of heart disease, depression, addiction, and burnout.

But its impact goes even further.

Loneliness is costing us, economically, socially, and culturally, at a scale we are only beginning to understand. It affects how we show up at work, how we care for one another, and how strong our communities can be.

The Cost of Loneliness Project was created to change that.

We are building a movement to make connection visible, actionable, and impossible to ignore... because connection doesn’t happen by accident anymore. It must be created, with intention. Everything we do is rooted in credible science and real human stories, because lasting change requires both.
